Bartainer runs entirely on your Mac. Your data stays on your device.
Local storage
Preferences (refresh interval, visible columns, remote hosts) are stored locally. SSH passwords are kept in macOS Keychain — never in plain text.
Container data
Bartainer reads container info from your local Docker engine and any remote hosts you configure over SSH. None of this data is sent to Bartainer servers.
Analytics
No analytics, no ad SDKs, no third-party tracking.
License verification
Pro activation may send a license key, app version, and a device identifier to the payment provider to verify the purchase. No other data is transmitted.

The app may open links to the Bartainer website, GitHub, or payment pages. Those services have their own privacy policies.
